Universal Balance

Understand how supported deposits become native USDC on Solana.

The Chaka Markets Universal Balance is the funding layer behind the marketplace. It gives the user one consistent balance—native USDC on Solana—instead of requiring a separate funding pot for every supported launchpad, DEX or chain.

The simple idea is:

Supported source assets converting into the Chaka Markets USDC Universal Balance on Solana

Why the Universal Balance exists

A normal cross-chain trading journey can involve several separate jobs:

  1. identify the chain where the user’s funds are held;
  2. swap the asset into a suitable bridge asset;
  3. choose and use a bridge;
  4. move the value to the required network;
  5. swap again;
  6. fund a venue-specific wallet;
  7. repeat the process for another market.

Chaka Markets brings that funding journey into one deposit experience. The routing provider still performs the underlying swap, bridge or transfer, but Chaka Markets presents the user with one expected USDC outcome and one place to track the route.

What can be deposited

The deposit input is not limited to USDC.

A user can choose:

  • any source chain supported by the active routing provider;
  • any on-chain crypto asset with a valid supported route;
  • the amount to convert into the Universal Balance.

Examples may include a native chain asset, a stablecoin or another supported token. Availability depends on live route support and liquidity.

A direct deposit of native USDC on Solana requires no conversion.

What Chaka Markets does

After the source chain, asset and amount are selected, Chaka Markets:

  1. requests the available route;
  2. calculates the expected native USDC on Solana;
  3. displays the minimum amount the user should receive;
  4. separates external costs from the Chaka Markets fee;
  5. asks the user to approve the source-chain transaction;
  6. swaps, bridges or routes the asset as required;
  7. monitors the route until it confirms or fails;
  8. credits confirmed USDC to the Universal Balance.

What the user should check

Before approval, review:

  • source asset and source chain;
  • destination asset and destination chain;
  • expected and minimum USDC received;
  • route and estimated completion time;
  • network, provider, swap and liquidity costs;
  • quote expiry;
  • Chaka Markets platform fee.

The expected amount is a quote. The confirmed Universal Balance is the final source of truth.

How the balance supports trading

The Universal Balance acts as shared buying power across supported Chaka Markets markets. When a user selects a token, Chaka Markets prepares the route from the balance to the selected venue and shows the complete trade confirmation.

After a supported sell, the settlement flow returns value to the user’s USDC Universal Balance, keeping the funding experience consistent across the marketplace.

Fees

Chaka Markets charges:

  • 0% platform fee on deposits, conversion and routing;
  • 0.5% trading fee on each executed buy;
  • 0.5% trading fee on each executed sell.

External network, provider, swap and liquidity costs may still apply and are shown separately before approval.

Trade with context.
